Vacuum Cleaner Limited Warranties

Vacuum Cleaners which have a Two Year Limited Warranty have the complete vacuum cleaner warranted by Ristenbatt Vacuum Cleaner Service to be free from all defects in material and workmanship in normal household use for a period of two years from the original date of purchase.

Vacuum Cleaners which have a Five Year Limited Suction Motor Warranty have their suction motor warranted by Ristenbatt Vacuum Cleaner Service to be free from all defects in material and workmanship in normal household use for a period of five years from the original date of purchase.

The manufacturers of the vacuum cleaners provide Limited Warranties for their own products. Typically these are for one year but sometimes they are for two or more years. These warranties are honored by Authorized Warranty Service Dealers which are established across the United States. Vacuum cleaners purchased from Ristenbatt Vacuum Cleaner Service can be returned to them or taken to the customer's closest Authorized Warranty Service Dealer for these warranty repairs. To obtain a copy of a specific manufacturer's warranty, either contact their Customer Service Department or send a request and SASE to Ristenbatt Vacuum Cleaner Service.

	Availability and Quality of Repair Parts

All parts used in making repairs are the same as those originally used by the vacuum cleaner manufacturer so the original quality is not compromised. We are an Authorized Warranty Service Dealer for most brands of new vacuum cleaners we sell so we stock most parts needed for making repairs. By stocking over 25,000 parts, we are able to perform most repairs within three days. If we don't have the required parts in stock, our good rapport with the manufacturers and other parts suppliers enables us to obtain them rather quickly.

	Availability and Cost of Labor

The cost of labor to repair or replace parts covered by these warranties is also covered by them. We do not simply ship a replacement part or motor to our customers and expect them to pay to have it installed locally. Experienced technicians at Ristenbatt Vacuum Cleaner Service will do the repairs, providing the assurance that they are done properly. We do not rely on other vac shops with uncertain abilities and standards to make the warranty repairs for us. While the customer is required to return the defective vacuum cleaner or attachment to us for repair or replacement, we will pay the shipping to return it to them.

	When to Purchase Warranties

While these Limited Warranties are given FREE with the purchase of many new vacuum cleaners from Ristenbatt Vacuum Cleaner Service, they can be purchased for vacuum cleaners which are not covered by them. Warranties must be purchased at the time of the original vacuum cleaner purchase. They are refundable only if the vacuum cleaner covered by them is returned within 15 days of the original purchase.

* The price of the 5-Year Limited Suction Motor Warranty is reduced by $10.00 when the manufacturer's limited warranty or our limited warranty on the complete vacuum cleaner is two years instead of the standard one year. In this case, the Limited Suction Motor Warranty is for three additional years instead of four.

While the parts used in higher priced vacuum cleaners are more expensive to replace, the warranty prices remain fairly constant as the higher end vacuum cleaner prices increase since the average number of warranty repairs is reduced substantially.
